This is a continuing list of resources I have found that clients have appreciated for their perimenopause stage. Some of these resources will specifically be about menopause and others will be more general for grief, etc. but still beneficial for this stage in life.

  • Oprahdaily article on menopause

  • “The Menopause Talk” with Oprah, Drew Barrymore, and Maria Shriver (must be an Oprah Insider to watch)

  • “Healing” with David Kessler - free podcast on Spotify that focuses on grief

  • Grief Yoga - Yoga created by Paul Denniston that focuses on poses that any body can do to release grief and transform it into action

  • Nancy - a sex toy company focused on increasing pleasure and decreasing the orgasm gap for women

  • Guided meditations by Dr. Kristin Neff, the leading expert of Self-Compassion. Also check out her book and her website for other amazing tips and resources

  • Audrey Wells, MD is a sleep expert with many tips for women. You can find her website here to sign up for her helpful newsletter. You can also join her Facebook group “Better Sleep and More Energy for Women”.

  • The 7th Tribe This is a space dedicated specifically to women (and female allies). On this site, you can form circles with your fellow women (public or private) to get away from politics, bots, and society. They push back against the patriarchy, provide daily inspiration about women, and have a fascinating blog - where you can also learn about Boudica!

  • The “We Do Not Care Club” with Melani Sanders - this woman is on a mission to normalize perimenopause and all the symptoms. She uses humor and reality to foster community and understanding. If you’re in need of a good laugh or for someone to get you, join this club!
